CHURCH OF EPHEMERAL SALVATION

Once the base of a pre-Demon Wars order of demon-slayers and monster hunters founded by St. John of Knives (See the story "Buried Past" in LEGEND OF GRIMJACK, VOL. 1 for a mention of him). Here resides the Crypt of St. Dryden the Outlaw, renegade monk of another order who defected to St. John's cult and became a vampire hunter of great reknown (Dryden is first mentioned in GRIMJACK: KILLER INSTINCT #3 and again in issue #6. For more about John and Dryden, see my Sketchbook Gallery.). The order still holds services here, but their activities have been hampered by the Bureau of Criminal Thought, who chafe at unregulated activites of these holy vigilantes and perhaps view them as rivals. (At least, that's what the place is telling me. Of course, my buddy John Ostrander has approved none of this. View the above blatherings as topics subject to change!)
