MARLOW AND THE HELMSMAN (INKED & TONED)

I finished off the promo piece in ink, using a black Uniball Vision pen (Size F), A Kuretake Fountain Brush pen, and my favorite inking tool, a Japanese Fude brush-pen made by Zebra (The Fude pen is also a Size F). Tones were added digitally, via my ACDSee art and photography editing program. And there you have it: the origin of the piece, from start to finish. This is pretty much the routine with all my work. I've since revised Marlowe's "look" since doing this version. This is "Marlow, Version 2". The final character design is a bit different. (Inner Station is a TM of Timothy Truman and Benjamin Truman.
