RORY GALLAGHER ON ACOUSTIC GUITAR

My favorite guitarist in the world, the late, great Rory Gallagher. I had the pleasure of meeting Rory in 1979, backstage at the Bottom Line in NYC, with my old buddies Tom Yeates and John Totleben. Rory treated us like we'd known him for years, speaking to us about his love of hard-boiled mystery writers like Chandler & Hammett and some of his favorite films. A great evening. The first set of the show was broadcast on a New York radio station and I'm still looking for a nice clean copy of it, if there's anyone out there who has it! This piece of digital art was done as a practice piece, for my own entertainment, for use on a mix of "Best of Rory Gallagher: Acoustic" CD I'm putting together for car trips.
