WEIRD TALES ILLUSTRATION, 2006
This is a reworked version of an earlier digital painting experiment that can be seen in the "Grimjack Gallery". It was a real treat to contribute something to Weird Tales-- the revamped version of the magazine that published Robert E. Howard's original Conan series in the 1930's. This delightful image graces a story by another Texas writer: my blood brother Joe R. Lansdale. (Digital illustration using "ACDSee Pro" program)
