From the new GRIMJACK graphic novel, available to readers in March, 2007. For the new Grimjack series I've decided to yield to my inner cartoonist. I came to the bizarre revelation last year that, with my comics work I've always tried to draw things "realistically" when a cartoony, more exagerated-- almost "bigfoot"-- style is actually more natural for me. Why did it take me 25 years to realize this? Who the heck knows. However, I'm enjoying the results. (2007: Japanese fine tipped Zebra brush pen, Staedler F and S illustration pens)
